This site was established for Jenny Paola Rodriguez (pictured), a 24 year-old medical student who is suffering her second brain tumor in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic. AIM: To raise money for a cerebral operation.

About a year ago, Jenny was undergoing treatment for a brain tumor which was successfully removed. Her family's prayers were answered and she was able to walk, speak and interact with her friends again.

Today, a year later, the tumor is back and the doctor's are hesitant to operate her fearing that the operation would leave her blind. Her brother (pictured in the image) informed me that the doctor's have been in contact with doctors in Los Angeles, CA.

Based on test results, they might have to send Jenny to California: a trip and medical exam that would cost $8,000.

Though she comes from a very poor family, both Jenny and her brother are medical students who had to pause their studies and career goals because of her sickness. They are in dire need of help and don't ask anyone for financial assistance. Their mother moved to The Bronx last Winter to work and returned to the Dominican Republic when she learned the cancer had returned.
